Abby Malone
Abby Malone is the owner of Revolution Mixed Martial Arts and a lifelong Martial Artist with over 32 years experience training, teaching and competing all over the world. She is the 2 X Masters World Champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, A World, European, and National Champion in Taekwondo, and a Junior Olympian. She has competed worldwide in locations around the globe such as Canada, Scotland, Italy, and Portugal.
Outside of Martial Arts, Abby has a BA in Spanish from the University of Central Arkansas with a minor in nutrition. Abby also studied counseling there in graduate school, leaving half way through in a decision to run the gym full time. She is a professional strength and conditioning coach and a professional photographer, having won a Grand Imaging Award and represented Team USA in the World Photographic Cup for her pet photography. Her work has been featured in multiple exhibitions. Abby also shoots precision rifle competitively, currently. Abby credits the things she has learned in Martial Arts for her success in "other" skills: knowing how to learn, train effectively, etc. Abby shares her experiences she has learned along the way with her students at Revolution Mixed Martial Arts.
Abby is also a mother and a widow. Her husband Jory was her partner, both in training and life, for 14+ years. He was also a BJJ Black Belt, Professional MMA Fighter, ADCC Veteran and BJJ World Champion. He died in his sleep in 2019. Abby continues to run Revolution and raise her daughter while shooting competitively, mostly in precision rifle series competitions.
